Saxon is a 4 year old (April 2011) black & tan docked male who likes to chase bikes!
He is very wary of men, and has shown signs of aggression in this respect. For this reason, any prospective male owners would need to be considerably experienced and visit Saxon under supervision before we would be happy to rehome him. On a lighter note, he is fine with women, and is not destructive.
We feel Saxon would be best off having one owner as he loved his previous lady owner who handed him back for fear he would get her into trouble – can you give him a second chance?

Baron came to us in 2009 after being given up. He has problems with his feet which bleed from time to time. We had hoped to have given you good news, but sadly the medication has not greatly improved the condition, but has at least got it under control. He disliked everything when he first arrived, and as anticipated his specific problems are taking longer to rectify. With love and patience and an on-going routine he is warming to our staff and volunteers, but is still not keen on men.

Niblow came to us from another Kennel, and unfortunately has been diagnosed with Wobblers. Angie is caring for him and says he gives the impression of being petrified of most things. Niblow has already warmed to her affection, after being at Hilbrae for some time awaiting a forever home that never came, and due to his health it looks unlikely now it ever will.
However, this doesn’t keep his spirits down, and he gets lots of love from Angie. Always ready for a snack, he loves running around with his bowl! Niblow has sadly passed away

JAY approximately 5 been with us just over 2-years now and came in around same time as Leo. He is gaining trust after having experienced threatening behaviour against him, but still a “no-body’s fool” kind of dog. Still chews
his bed – so more blankets please! Jay has sadly passed away
HAARLOM is a 3-4 year old bitch having been in several homes, she came to Rescue in January 2013 where she has settled to kennel life and presents no problems. She dislikes other dogs and not for the novice handler.

DAVE is a 7-year-old male who came to us from Wood Green Animal Shelter. The only info we have on him is what staff at Cranfield have observed and it is obvious he is very good natured but dislikes other dogs.
TYSON is 8-years-old. He is brother as you have probably already gathered to MAX but Tyson has a deformity in his back legs which gives him no cause for concern just visually noticeable, again a wonderful natured dog. Has sadly passed away April 2015
MAX is brother to Tyson (2) and is 8 years old. Max will need to be homed separately on this occasion as they don’t really like each other, as left to defend for themselves considering these two boys past experiences they are both individually surprisingly good natured.

Loki and black and tan male only 2 years old. Unfortunately Loki has had a few homes in his short life. He is very powerful and needs a lot of understanding. This has made Loki rather unpredictable. In kennels he copes well and seems to respond well to his routine. It is hoped that one day we will find him a suitable home. He really is an intelligent boy. Not for the ‘faint hearted’.
